Earlier in her career, Betsy worked as a nonprofit consultant and held roles with the Public Health Institute and the California School Boards Association, focusing on closing opportunity gaps by addressing racial, health and wealth inequities, and structural barriers to educational access. Across every role, her work has been grounded in the belief that every child deserves equitable access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities that allow them to reach their full potential.
